Public Tender Information Collection and Monitoring
I developed a robust web platform for tracking French public tenders ("appels d'offres"), gathering data from various sources like government websites, APIs, and tender platforms.
The project involved:
• Extracting critical details (buyers, deadlines, budgets, departments, status, etc.) and associated documents. (Python, BeautifulSoup, Selenium)
• Parsing HTML content and managing data storage in a PostgreSQL database.
• Designing a user-friendly platform using Django and JavaScript for effective tender monitoring.
• Containerizing the application using Docker for consistent deployment and scalability.
• Deploying the application on AWS, incorporating client feedback for continuous improvement.
This solution provided clients with comprehensive, real-time insights into public tenders, enabling effective tracking and decision-making.
